Web-Feet Solid State Disk Market Forecasts About RSS Feeds

A Web-Feet Research forecast published in a Mosaid Technologies paper titled "Unleashing the Next Generation Flash Memory Architecture - HyperLink NAND (HLNAND) Flash" shows that the total market for SSDs is forecast to reach almost $14 billion in 2011 from just $3.8 billion in 2007. The growth will come from the widespread deployment of solid state disks in notebook computers, Web-Feet predicts.

In another solid state disk forecast from Web-Feet, this time from Microsoft's WinHEC 2007 presentation, the CAGR of SSD units sold from 2007 to 2011 is expected to reach 95 percent.
