E-Disk® SolidTape
is a removable, portable IDE/ATA E-Disk®
Flash SSD in a rugged cartridge. Small and
compact, the SolidTape cartridge is ready
for all your data storage needs, including
audio, video, security, client data and disaster
recovery. With capacities of up to 18.4 GB,
the SolidTape cartridge is the only storage
you'll ever need. Change your interface between
USB 2.0, and FireWire connections simply by
changing the cable. It won't become obsolete
when the next fast interface becomes available.
Additionally, you can slide it into a SolidTape
Bay and enjoy a sustained transfer rate of
up to 22 Mbytes/sec.

Internal SolidTape

Available in beige or black,
internal SolidTape Bays with either IDE/ATA,
USB 2.0 or SCSI interface connections can
be purchased and easily installed in your
PC's spare floppy slot. SolidTape Bay data
transfer rates are up to 10 - 20X faster than
USB 1.1. The SolidTape SATA bay is designed
for easy integration into PCs or other applications
using a SATA interface connection. |
External SolidTape

External SolidTape bays are
available for easy connection to devices (such
as digital video recorders and non-linear
editing systems) via USB or FireWire, providing
easy access to digital content without time
consuming data transfers. |
Easily connect your SolidTape cartridge to USB 2.0 or FireWire 400 ports by simply changing the cable. With cables being developed for all of the new interfaces (FW800, SATA, POE, etc.) you will always have access to your data.

USB 2.0

The USB 2.0 interface is one
of the fastest interfaces available. With
speeds more than 10X faster than USB 1.1,
backing up drives, transfering large data
files and viewing crisp video files is now
a breeze. USB 2.0 cable is also compatible
with USB 1.1 ports. |
FireWire™

The FireWire 400 interface
is one of the fastest interfaces available.
The 400Mbps (50MB/s) data transfer rate allows
for rapid transfer of large data and video
files while the 6-pin connector provides power
to the cartridge. For use with most devices,
no external power is required. |
