BiTMICRO Networks has selected Synopsys' DesignWare® physical layer cores for PCI Express® and Serial-ATA (SATA) high-speed serial interfaces.

BiTMICRO will use the ARCT 700 family of configurable cores to develop low cost, next-generation system-on-chip (SoC) devices for their state-of-the-art E-Disk® solid state storage solutions.

Celebrating its 30th year, FOSE 2006 aptly highlighted its role in bringing technology to the government. BiTMICRO Networks continues its active participation in the event by showcasing its E-Disk SSDs at booth 718.

Europe's main land forces equipment event hosted 1,080 exhibitors and 48,000 visitors in this year's edition. BiTMICRO joined other US defense suppliers at booth 15 of the trade show's USA Pavilion.

CommunicAsia (June 20-23, 2006)

The four-day CommunicAsia2006, along with EnterpriseIT2006, has doubled in size since its inception in 2004, and is expected to attract some 400,000 visitors for its next edition. This year, BiTMICRO Networks continues to make its presence felt in the Asian region via the show. The E-Disk SSD was on display at booth 4E3-12.

Success Story


A team of engineers at Northrop Grumman Electronic Systems used a 17GB E-Disk SSD as a data collection device to analyze the vibration environment of modern fighter aircraft. In their technical paper entitled "Mass Body Data Collection System," Northrop Grumman Principal Engineer John Cooper discussed how the E-Disk SSD performed during the duration of the test; its capacity to endure extreme vibrations, and how it was as a plug and play replacement for the mechanical HDD.
