Fremont, Calif. - December 29, 2006 - BiTMICRO Networks, Inc., maker of intelligent flash IDE/ATA, SCSI, and Fibre Channel and SATA solid state disk (SSD) storage solutions, today announced its participation at the 40th Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Nevada on January 8 to 11, 2007. Hosted by the Consumer Electronics Association, the International CES is the world's largest annual tradeshow for consumer technology and America's largest tradeshow of any kind. CES 2007 is expecting 150,000 attendees this year with 2,700 exhibitors on the floor.

BiTMICRO Networks will showcase the complete line-up of its leading edge E-Disk solid state storage solutions during the event. BiTMICRO Network's highlight will be a sneak preview of the new SSDs to be launched by the company in the 1st quarter of 2007 featuring new interfaces, higher capacities and improved performance, among others. "This is a very timely event, especially now that solid state disks have crossed the borders to become an integral component of consumer electronics," said Rudy Bruce, Executive Vice President for Marketing and Sales at BiTMICRO Networks.

According to a Web-Feet Research forecast, the SSD market will reach 2,693,000 units or $4,482,000 market volume by 2010. "Apparently, consumer electronics is a very strong driving force behind the demand for SSDs. Increased storage needs for mobile phones, MP3 players and digital cameras are only among the most popular applications. This makes the industry a catch basin for technological breakthroughs that will further propel the power of consumer electronics in improving the lives of consumers in the coming years," added Bruce.
