History

The patented FlashBus™ technology that drives the E-Disk solid state hard drive was conceived when the company's innovative founders, the Bruce brothers, identified a means to support high-speed data transactions with storage devices that would enable mobile computing in a wide variety of environments. Applications of such sheer magnitude had not yet reached the commercial market; therefore BiTMICRO targeted sophisticated applications in high-end military mobile computing environments such as aircraft, spacecraft, warfare vehicles, and mobile field units. The initial concept was to pack as much storage as possible into an innovative design optimizing space without sacrificing sheer power and data integrity. The promise of such technology led to years of R&D which produced patented firmware and hardware designs.

E-Disk Technology

The E-Disk flash solid state drive is designed for enterprise installation, expanding Internet communications, and industrial applications. It is an ideal storage solution for a high speed NAS, SAN, or server appliance.
